The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) is one of the world’s leading dance examinations board. The ISTD syllabi are structured to cater equally for those who wish to pursue dance professionally, either as a performer or dance teacher, and for those purely dancing for fun and enjoyment.  Although not compulsory, Interact Theatre Arts students are strongly encouraged to take ISTD examinations in Ballet, Tap and Modern.
